Conclusions Vascular ultrasonography is an excellent primary method for evaluation and post-surgical follow-up of patients treated with endovascular repair of abdominal aorta aneurysms. Increased fluorodeoxyglucose activity of a vascular graft representing a potential pitfall of fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography imaging
A 75-year-old man was found to have a right lung nodule on a chest radiograph that was suspicious for a lung malignancy. He was subsequently referred for an 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scan to evaluate the lung nodule. Pulmonary sequestration and endovascular treatment: a case report
We report the case of a 29-year-old-woman presenting with recurrent pneumonia for 5 years. A CT scan of the chest revealed poor vascular formation in the lower region of the right lung. The pulmonary sequestration was treated by embolization of the anomalous branch.

Early diagnosis of atherosclerosis with panoramic radiographs: a review
The objective of this study is to highlight the importance of panoramic radiographs for diagnosis of arterial disease, by means of a bibliographic review. The PubMed database was searched using the keywords “ atherosclerosis ” and “ panoramic ” , with the filters “ last 5 years ” and “ humans ” . Twenty articles were identified, six of which were chosen for this study because they were open access. Abnormal origin of posterior circumflex humeral artery and subscapular artery: case report and review of the literature
Abstract The subscapular, anterior circumflex, and posterior circumflex arteries arise from the third part of the axillary artery. During dissection of the right upper limb of the cadaver of a 70-year-old male, a common trunk was observed arising from the third part of the axillary artery which, after traveling for 0.5 cm, bifurcated into subscapular and posterior circumflex humeral arteries. Increased Peripheral Arterial Calcification in Patients Receiving Warfarin Vascular Medicine
Conclusions Warfarin use is associated with lower extremity arterial calcification in both men and women independent of age, sex, diabetes status, and other patient characteristics. This may have implications for the choice of therapies for long-term anticoagulation.

A novel technique of reimplantation of a radial artery that makes a hairpin turn to reduce the excessive vascular access flow in a dialysis patient.
We report a new technique called "reimplantation of an artery with a hairpin turn (RAHT)" to reduce excessive vascular access flow. A 73-year-old woman on dialysis consulted us for vascular surgery because of an increased cardiac preload. Chest radiography and echocardiography revealed an excessive shunt flow in the brachial artery (flow rate, 2336 mL/min). Intracavitary electrocardiography-guided positioning of central vascular access device can spare unnecessary ionizing radiation exposure in pediatric patients.
CONCLUSION: When electrocardiography-guided positioning is uneventful and a valid P-Wave pattern is seen, postprocedure radiograph imaging for verification is unnecessary. Any effort should be made to upgrade hospital policies according to evidences and newest guidelines to spare pediatric patients harmful exposure to radiation by limiting the use of radiography only to selected cases. Abstract Animal models remain the gold standard for the preclinical evaluation of tissue response, sealing and integrity of aortic endografts. Preclinical testing of the InCraft(®) device was performed to evaluate these attributes. Endovascular aortic repair with EndoAnchors demonstrate good mid-term outcomes in physician-initiated multicenter analysis-The PERU registry.
CONCLUSIONS: This real-world registry demonstrates that adjunct EndoAnchor usage at EVAR achieves high rates of freedom from type IaEL at mid-term including in a high number of patients with hostile neck anatomy, with positive trends in sac-size evolution.
